BRIDGEWATER, N.J. - Oleksandra Ovsiienko secured her first NEC Player of the Month and Rookie of the Month Awards this afternoon.
 
In her first month as a Knight, Ovsiienko went 10-2 in singles action. She won her first five matches, which included going undefeated at the Bill and Sandra Moore Invitational. She has won at least two matches at each invite the Knights competed in so far this season.

Additionally, Ovsiienko finished as the top singles player at the NateRentals.com Binghamton Invitational, qualifying for the ITA Conference Masters. At this event she outdueled the NEC's top talent. She plays in San Diego, California starting Nov. 6 at the Masters event. 
 
Joining her are NEC Prime Performers Anastasia Lim, Sophia Fredericks-McKee, and Ann Kato.
