Wiltshire Shatters School Record as Knights Compete at Dr. Sander Scorcher

NEW YORK, N.Y. – FDU track and field had a remarkable weekend at the Dr. Sander Scorcher in New York. Several Knights continued to break their personal bests, with a few event winners as well.

The highlight of the weekend for the Knights came on day two of the meet. In the women's shot put, Nilaja Wiltshire shone yet again for FDU. Wiltshire, a three-time NEC field athlete of the week, has had a banner season in the burgundy and blue, and added to her resume with a remarkable distance of 15.19m. The mark was good for fourth place, but broke an FDU indoor record with her distance.

Wiltshire also continued to shatter personal bests, placing second in the weight throw with a distance of 16.65m.
