JERSEY CITY, N.J. – FDU men's and women's track and field traveled to Jersey City for a midweek dual against Saint Peter's. The Knights had a successful evening, posting a handful of personal bests and a few first place finishes.
-Freshman
Xavier Hayletts placed third in the men's 100m A Final with a personal best time of 11.10
-Freshman
Anthony Massari placed second in the men's 200m final with a time of 21.81, he was followed by
Chigozie Ibekwe who placed fourth with a time of 22.91
-Freshman
Khalia Boyce placed fourth in the women's 200m final with a time of 27.61 and third in the 400m with a time of 1:03.84
-Freshman
Brandon Barreto placed second in the men's 400m with a time of 50.37
-Freshman
Ekuyami Conteh placed third in the men's 800m A final with a time of 2:10.74
-Sophomore
Luis Abreu placed second in the men's 800m B final with a time of 1:59.18
-Freshmen
Terry Scott and
Trevor Ehrlicher followed Abreu, placing third and fourth respectively
-Abreu placed first in the men's 1500m with a personal best time of 4:10.01
-Senior
Ahmed Brown won the men's shot put with a mark of 14.53m and the men's discus with a throw of 39.13m
-Freshman
Darien Cade followed Brown with a second-place finish in the shot put
-Junior
Ella Johnson placed second in the women's shot put with a mark of 11.59m
The Knights look ahead to the Larry Ellis Invitational, hosted by Princeton on April 12.
