HACKENSACK, N.J.- The FDU Cheerleading squad will depart Bergen County this week to take their spot on the big stage at the NCA College Nationals in Daytona Beach, Fla. This trip marks a massive step for the program as they will compete against hundreds of other cheer squads in the Sunshine State.
 
The competition will take place from April 11-13 on the Daytona Beach Boardwalk. The entirety of the event will be livestreamed. Fans can watch all the action on Varsity TV.
 
"We are excited about the opportunity to compete for the first time in school history at NCA College Nationals." Said head coach Crystal Simmons. "This has been a goal for years! The team has worked relentlessly for this moment.  We look forward to taking the Mat in Daytona this year and in the years to come!"
 
The Knights are first set to hit the stage on Thursday, April 11, in the Intermediate All-Girl Division I at 11:00 a.m. in the OC Arena. They will compete again on Friday at a time to be announced.
 
FDU will be joined by squads  from throughout the country as they battle for the prestigious NCA National Title and banners.
