BOSTON, Mass. - Senior Track and Field student-athlete Salif Mane continued his historic career by earning First Team All-American honors in the Triple Jump at the 2024 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Mane opened the competition at the TRACK at new balance in what would be his best jump of the event flying 16.58m, good for fourth. One of 16 jumpers, Mane held on to fourth place but could not catch eventual National Champion, Miami's Russell Robinson, who took home a Facility Record of 16.76m.

The most decorated athlete in FDU history, Mane completed his final NCAA Indoor Championship with his third consecutive First Team All-American award (2022, 2023, 2024) for the triple jump. On Friday, Mane earned Second Team All-American in the Long Jump event finishing 10th jumping 7.56m. 
 

Mane Indoor All-American Summary

• In 2022, Mane earned his first of three First Team All-American honors in Birmingham, AL where he finished seventh. His jump of 16.16m on his final attempt ensured the top-8 finish
• Last year, Mane competed in Albuquerque, NM for the NCAA Indoor Championships. He would take second place with a jump of 16.79m and earning his second First Team All-American honor
• 2024 was the first time Mane took part in multiple jumping events at the National Championships and brought home a Second Team All-American nod in the Long Jump and the aforementioned First Team All-American honor, concluding a successful weekend in Boston

Mane will continue his season in outdoor track and field en route to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Regionals in Lexington, Kentucky, May 22-25.
