BOSTON, MA – FDU men's and women's track and field traveled to Boston for the second day of the ECAC/IC4A Indoor Championships. The Knights had an incredibly successful day, with four personal bests and three semifinal qualifying times.
-Freshmen
Xavier Hayletts and
Anthony Massari placed 18
th and 20
th respectively in the men's 60m prelims. Although they did not qualify for finals, Massari ran a personal best time of 7.34
-Senior
Onnieka Rolle qualified for semi's with a personal best 7.85 in the women's 60m, before narrowly missing out on finals with a 7.85
-Junior
Duane Kizer qualified for semis in the men's 60m hurdles with a time of 8.30, also qualifying himself for finals tomorrow with a time of 8.16 in the semi's
-Freshman
Tata Coulibaly placed ninth in the women's 60m hurdles, qualifying her for finals with a time of 8.90
-Freshman
Anaya Lowder participated in the women's 200m and 400m, placing 25
th and 24
th respectively
-Freshman
Jashad Kersey finished 13
th in the men's long jump with a mark of 5.96m
-Junior
Andree Celestin placed eighth in the women's long jump with a mark of 5.34m
-Freshman
Nilaja Wiltshire participated in the women's weight throw, placing 16
th with a mark of 13.34m
The Knights continue IC4A and ECAC action tomorrow, with the first events beginning at 10 a.m. in the Boston University Track and Tennis Center.
