HACKENSACK, N.J.- The Knights ended a four-game homestand with a 20-3 loss to Iona on Wednesday afternoon in Teaneck. The loss brings FDU's 2024 record to 0-4.
Iona opened the scoring with two quick goals in the game's first three minutes. Moments later,
Jordan Santana rocketed one home off of a free position shot that cut Iona's lead down to 2-1. Iona then finished the half on a 13-0 run and led 15-1 at the break.
Riley Eaton and
Jenny Spencer scored FDU's lone two goals in the second half.
The Knights were outshot 42-15 in the loss.
