FDU heads back home following a two-game road trip that saw them suffer losses to Syracuse and No. 2 UConn. The Kngihts last time out was an 85-44 loss to UConn in Gampel Pavilion. The Knights were on the other side of history, as UConn head coach Geno Auriemma set the all-time college basketball wins record with his 1,217
th victory as a head coach.
Despite the loss, FDU got a strong performance out of
Ava Renninger, who is a prime player to watch in the upcoming duel. Renninger currently leads the team with 15.3 PPG as just a freshman. She is the back-to-back NEC Rookie of the Week, and has found herself with a starting role for head coach
Stephanie Gaitley.
The Knights will also look to lean on veteran leaders
Teneisia Brown and

Babore has begun to break out as a key player for FDU as well this season. She has been the definition of a stat sheet stuffer through the Knights' first six games. Babore ranks fourth on the team in scoring with 8.8 PPG, second on the team in rebounding with 4.3 RPG, and leads the team in assists with 4.2 APG. The graduate student also leads the Knights in minutes, playing a whopping 34.2 minutes per contest.
