HACKENSACK, N.J. - Fresh off a win against Stonehill, the FDU Knights (5-13, 3-2) will finish a three-game homestand on Thursday against the Central Connecticut Blue Devils (4-14, 2-3). Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m.

Teneisia Brown, the Knights took down Stonehill by a score of 61-50. FDU led by a slim two-point margin at the break. The Burgundy and Blue made quick work out of the break as they were able to push their lead to ten within five minutes of the third. With the Knights outscoring Stonehill 17-7 in the third, the Skyhawks could not overcome their scoring drought leading to a 61-50 FDU victory. The Knights shot 40.4% from the floor and logged their fourth straight game with three or more players scoring in double-figures.

With two triples against Stonehill,
Abby Conklin has officially hit 100 three-pointers in her FDU basketball career. This makes Conklin the fourth active NEC women's basketball player to meet this mark.
BEHIND ENEMY LINES
The Blue Devils enter this contest with an overall record of 4-14 and sit 2-3 in conference play. In their last game, they fell to LIU by a score of 57-50. In their 18 games this season, the Blue Devils are averaging just under 56 points per contest and just over 30 rebounds.
SCOUT'S CORNER
The Blue Devils have found steady production in Samora Watson and Belle Lanpher. Watson has played a tough game on both sides of the court as she averages 16.2 points with 5.5 rebounds per game.
Lanpher is Central Connecticut's second leading scorer as she is right behind Watson with 12.5 points per game.
PACING THE SIDELINES
Way Veney enters her first year as head coach at Central Connecticut. She previously served as an assistant coach and was promoted to assistant head coach at Temple where she helped lead the Owls to three NCAA Tournament appearances.
