Track Honors Seniors and Grad Students in Meet Against Saint Peter's

FDU honored 8 seniors and graduate students yesterday in a home match-up against Saint Peter's at Stratis Arena. The athletes honored included Shantel Worrell, Onnieka Rolle, Marie Etong Ntonga, Akayla Morris, Ahmed Brown, Raul Esteves, Dane Theuerkauf and Salif Mane.

Jashad Kersey jumped an impressive 6.27m in the long jump to secure a second place finish
Freshman Nilaja Wiltshire put up a strong performance in the shot put, winning with a 12.10m throw
Luis Abreu dominated the mile with a winning 4:37.89, a margin of over 10 seconds to the second place finisher
Graduate student Onnieka Rolle came out fast on her senior night with a 7.09 win in the 55m dash
Freshman Anaya Lowder secured a win in the 500m dash with a time of 1:23.95
The Knights secured the top three spots in the women's and men's 1000m, including a first place finish by Woizert James with a time of 4:01.54 for the women and Ekuyami Conteh with a 2:39.71 for the men.
Raul Esteves had a dominate night with a team leading 38.25 in the 300m and 6.46 in the 55m
The men's 4x400 relay team of Anthony Massari, Duane Kizer, Brandon Barreto and Ekuyami Conteh placed second with an impressive time of 3:31.28
The women's 4x400 relay also placed second with Tata Coulibaly, Khalia Boyce, Taliyah Furtick and Anaya Lowder
