Wednesday Clash with the Mountaineers Coming to the Hackensack

HACKENSACK, N.J. - FDU opens a five-game homestand against Mount St. Mary's (Md.) on Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 12 p.m. The Knights will hope to come away with their first win of the season against the Mountaineers in front of a home crowd at Stratis Arena in Hackensack, N.J.

HOW TO WATCH

Fans can stream all of the action on NEC Front Row.

LAST TIME OUT

The Knights last saw the court on Friday against Georgetown. The Hoyas were able to come away with a win against the resilient FDU squad as their late efforts were not enough to result in a Knights win. This game resulted in a 60-45 victory for Georgetown. The Knights shot 11-for-44 (25%) from the field and totaled 10 points from the bench and 10 second chance points. FDU hit the boards defensively collecting 35 rebounds in the contest. Lilly Parke, Abby Conklin, and Nickie Carter contributed from downtown with a total of six three-pointers among the three of them.

BEHIND ENEMY LINES

This game marks the Mountaineers fourth game of the season where they are hoping to improve their record to 2-2. In their last contest, Mount St. Mary's dropped to Cornell in a nail-biter with a slim margin of 47-52. The Mountaineers are averaging 51 points per game and shooting 33.9% from the floor. Mount St. Mary's is shooting 20-for-69 (29%) from downtown, with guard, Jo Raflo shooting 11-for-23 (47.8%) from beyond the arc herself.

SCOUT'S CORNER

The Knights will be keyed in on Mount St. Mary's Jo Raflo and Isabella Hunt. Raflo is shooting 47.8% from the three-point line and has proven to be a force for the Mountaineers tallying 44 points so far this season and recorded her career high in points in their last outing against Cornell collecting 26 points. FDU will be tuned into Isabella Hunt as they look to keep her off the glass. Hunt has collected 29 rebounds so far this season and has already tied her career high with 15 rebounds in their game against Navy.

PACING THE SIDELINES

Antoine White is the Mountaineers' head coach and is entering his third season with Mount St. Mary's. In his first season at Mount St. Mary's, he led the team to a NEC championship and appeared in the NCAA First Four round.

LAST TIME, FIRST TIME

FDU and Mount St. Mary's have faced each other 64 times in their program's histories, but the Mountaineers hold a 37-27 lead in the series. The Knights look to improve to their 28th win against the Mountaineers with a victory on Wednesday.
