Fans can stream all of the action on ESPN+.
LAST TIME OUT
The Knights last played on Sunday against another Patriot League foe in Army. The Black Knights were able to hold off a strong comeback effort from FDU in a 71-63 victory. The Knights shot 50% from the field, led by impressive efforts from Teneisia Brown and Lilly Parke. Brown tallied 16 points and five rebounds on just 11 shots, while Parke contributed 15 points, four assists, and three rebounds. Both Brown and Parke have produced back-to-back double-digit scoring outputs to start the season. They're pacing the Knights at 13 points per game.
OWNING DOWNTOWN
Teams have struggled to dial in from deep against the Knights. FDU has held opponents to a mere 23.8% (10-42) from beyond the arc. On the other hand, the Knights are sinking 6.5 threes per game. Abby Conklin leads the Knights in this category, thanks to four three-pointers made against Army.
BEHIND ENEMY LINES
This game marks the home opener for Bucknell. They've began the year with a tough two-game road trip within the Keystone state, dropping battles to formidable opponents Penn State and Temple. The Bison are averaging 52 points per game, while surrendering 85.5 points on the defensive end. They have struggled out of the gate, facing double-digit deficits at halftime in each of their two games.
SCOUT'S CORNER
The Knights will be keyed in on Bucknell's Isabella King. King scored a team-high 14 points against Penn State and is averaging 10.0 points per game on the year. The junior has already produced three steals and has gone 6-6 from the charity-stripe. FDU will try to keep Grace Sullivan and Blake Matthews off the boards, as they have both averaged five rebounds per game.
PACING THE SIDELINES
Trevor Woodruff is in his fourth season as head coach at Bucknell. In his first three seasons as the man in charge, Woodruff led the Bison to a 57-17 record, while putting a Patriot League regular season title and a WNIT first round victory in his back pocket. Woodruff, who previously compiled 272 wins at the DII and DII level, has been named Patriot League Coach of the Year twice in his career at Bucknell.
LAST TIME, FIRST TIME
Last year FDU defeated Bucknell 62-49 in the Bison's home arena. This marked the first time FDU had taken down Bucknell. Overall, Bucknell holds a 6-1 lead in the series.
