SOMERSET, N.J. - All-American Salif Mane secured the NEC honor of Men's Field Athlete of the Week for the third time this outdoor season after a record-breaking performance at the Aggie Classic in Greensboro, NC. at North Carolina A&T this weekend.
Salif Mane earned Field Athlete of the Week honors after another record-breaking performance at the Aggie Classic. The sophomore from the Bronx, NY. earned a first-place finish in the triple jump competition with a mark of 16.50m. Mane jumped for his personal best as well as breaking the FDU outdoor triple jump program record yet again.
Mane holds the top spot in the Northeast Conference in both outdoor triple jump with a mark of 16.50m and outdoor long jump with a mark of 7.61m. More impressively, Mane now ranks second in outdoor triple jump in the nation, and first in the East.
