GREENSBORO, NC. - FDU Men's Track & Field traveled down to North Carolina as they took on the Aggie Classic at the Marcus T. Johnson Track. The Knights competed hard and beat several personal records and recorded top finishes.
How it Happened

Salif Mane had an outstanding jump on his first attempt earning a first-place finish in the triple jump competition, recording a mark of 16.50m. This mark surpassed his jump of 16.30m from last week at the Larry Ellis Invitational which broke yet another program record. The sophomore from the Bronx also earned a second place finish in the long jump with a mark of 7.41m Mane is now first in the East in outdoor triple jump and second in the nation.

Tahj Mullings earned a second place finish in the discus throw with a mark of 45.53m. Mullings also hit a personal record in the hammer throw with a mark of 45.60m.

Daniel Chambers ran a new personal best in the 100m dash as he recorded a time of 10.76.

Malik Ricketts earned a third place finish in the 400m dash, and also ran a personal best with a mark of 47.73.

Ako Hislop was first in his heat in the 100m dash with a time of 10.66.
Thoughts from Coach Milwood-Lee
"I am very pleased with our weekend here in North Carolina. Our team represented and we had several good performances," said Coach Lee. "We are gearing up for our conference championship, and are starting to get closer to where we need to be."
Next Up
The Knights will return to the tri-state area as they head to West Point, NY. for the West Point Twilight at Shea Stadium on April 28th.
