PRINCETON, NJ. - FDU Men's Track & Field traveled to another Jersey meet as they competed in the Sam Howell Invitational at Weaver Stadium in Princeton, NJ. The Knights beat several personal records, and brought home some top finishes.
How it Happened

Ben Clay III and Dominykas Cepys dominated in the shot put competition as they took first and second place with marks of 16.74m and 16.18m, respectively.

Kenroy Ellis earned a second place finish in the 400m hurdles while also surpassing his personal best with a time of 55.21. Ellis also ran his personal best in the 400m dash with a time of 50.11

Tahj Mullings earned a third place finish in the discus throw with a mark of 48.84m, and with this mark Mullings beat his personal best.

Salif Mane, Sean Mefford, and Taeco O'Garro swept the long jump competition with a first, second, and third place finish with marks of 7.05m, 6.82m, and 6.74m.

Roman Mioduszewski earned a third place finish in the javelin throw with a mark of 50.12m.

Ako Hislop ran a personal best in the 400m dash with a time of 53.43. Yahnik Martin also ran his personal best in the 400m with a time of 54.60.
Next Up
The Knights will return to competition on April 8-9 as the team heads to Randalls Island, NY. for the Metropolitan Championships at Icahn Stadium.
