Knights Open Their Season at the Temple Open

PHILADELPHIA, PA. - The FDU Knights opened their season today at the Temple Open in Philadelphia, Pa. Gabby Cruz and twins Jordana and Dominique Greaux-Gist each won their first individual bouts of the season. 
 
Individual

FOIL:
  • Dominique Greaux-Gist (54th) 
    • Registered a combined 1-7 record in both preliminary rounds
    • Lost to Penn State's Grace Seal in 1st round of the direct elimination bracket
  • Jordana Greaux-Gist (55th)
    • Registered a combined 1-7 record in both preliminary rounds
    • Lost to Columbia's Ruoqiu Few in 1st round of the direct elimination bracket
EPEE:
  • Gabby Cruz (T62nd)
    • Registered a combined 1-7 record in both preliminary rounds
    • Lost in 1st round to NYU's Sophia Dondisch in 2nd round of the direct elimination bracket
SABER:
  • Avery LaRusso (T73rd)
    • Registered a 0-4 record in the opening preliminary round
    • Finished third with a record of 4-5 in the consolation pool
  • Emily Bone (T73)
    • Registered a 0-4 record in the opening preliminary round
    • Finished 14th with a record of 0-4 in the consolation pool
