WEST POINT, NY – The Fairleigh Dickinson men's track and field team had five athletes post PR's as they completed their seventh event of the season on Thursday afternoon from Shea Stadium.

How it Happened

• Junior Ben Clay III set a PR in the shot put event and posted a second-place finish with a toss of 16.27 on his sixth and final attempt of the day.
• Senior Sean Mefford recorded a PR in the long jump with a leap of 6.33 meters on his first attempt and also participated in the triple jump.
• Freshman Dominykas Cepys finished third in the shot put with a toss of 14.77 on his first throw.
• Junior Shevan Parks posted a fourth-place finish in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.53.
• Fellow junior Sandley Elysee finished fourth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 54.99.
• Freshman Dane Theuerkauf placed fourth in the javelin with a throw of 40.16.
• Fellow Freshman Conroy Ellis placed fifth and posted a PR in the 400-meter event with a mark of 50.63.
• Junior Zubayr Ismail recorded a PR in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.35.
• Freshman Liam Deep set a PR as well with a 51.66 mark in the 400-meter event.

FDU will return to action on Saturday, May 15 when they travel to Springfield, Mass. for the ECAC/IC4A Championships.
