All-Time Series
First Meeting

Scouting the Hilltoppers
The Hilltoppers followed up with a four-game win streak with a home loss to Tennessee Tech, but were able to bounce right back with a victory over Miami (Oh.) in a thrilling game that went down to the wire. A 25-point fourth-quarter and a buzzer-beating two-pointer by Mya Meredith (who had 17 points on the game) propelled the Hilltoppers to the victory. Aside from Meredith, WKU are led by Meral Abdelgawad who scored 20 points with eight rebounds to expand upon her team-leading per-game tallies of 16.7 points and 8.6 rebounds. Abdelgawad also has a team-leading 2.7 steals per game, along with 2.5 assists. Alexis Mead is also aiding the Western Kentucky cause by shooting 41.7% from three while averaging 12.1 points per game.

Scouting the Knights
The Knights made it three in a row at home thanks to a 71-45 thrashing of the Delaware State Hornets. On that evening, the Knights were led by two shooters off the bench, Celia Carbonell and Abby Conklin, who each made four three-pointers to help the FDU cause. Balanced scoring has been the name of the game for FDU this season, as eight players currently average at least five points per game for FDU. Chloe Wilson leads the way with 11.4 points as well as six rebounds a game, a metric good for second on the team. As a collective, the Knights sit in the top 50 in the country in three-point percentage, shooting the three at a 35.7% clip, which is good for 43rd in the country. They have also been stellar in limiting threes, holding opponents to just 27% shooting from distance.

What's Next
The Knights venture into the Bronx to square off with Coach Szumilo's former team, Fordham, on Sunday, December 19, at 2 p.m. The game will air live on ESPN+.
