Former FDU Men's Basketball Forward Kinu Rochford Joins This Week's Greg Herenda Show

About Kinu Rochford:
Kinu Rochford was a key member of the FDU men's basketball team from 2011-13 and led the team in scoring as a senior in 2012-13. The Brooklyn, New York native record a team-high 14.7 points per game and grabbed 8.9 rebounds per game, while swatting away 36 shots in that final campaign.
 
Rochford arrived on the Hackensack following a two-year stint at Globe Institute of Technology where he averaged 14 points and 14 rebounds per contest and earned First Team All-Region honors.
 
The former Knight currently plays for Þór Þorlákshöfn of the Icelandic league Úrvalsdeild karla.  This past April, Rochford scored 23 points in the fifth and deciding game of Þór's 3-2 upset against Tindastóll in the first round of the playoffs. During the regular season, he averaged 19.1 points and led the league with 12.2 rebounds per game.
 
Following his senior season at FDU, Rochford entered the professional ranks. His first professional stop was in 2013 with Aris Leeuwarden in the Dutch Basketball League where he averaged 12.2 points and 7.8 rebounds in 10 games. In March 2014, he joined Elitzur Yavne of the Israeli second division. In 10 games he averaged a team leading 21.3 points and 11.2 rebounds.
 
In 2015, Rochford signed with ESSM Le Portel of the LNB Pro B and averaged 10.6 points and 5.6 rebounds per game across his 22 games with the team.  Rochford spent the 2016-17 campaign with Cheshire Phoenix in the British Basketball League and earned BBL Player of the Month honors in January after averaging 17.8 points and 14.0 rebounds per game.  For the season, he averaged 19.6 points and 10.2 rebounds per game.
 
Rochford spent the next season with Saint-Chamond Basket of the LNB Pro B and BC Boncourt Red Team of the Swiss Basketball League where he averaged 13.0 points and 6.4 rebounds in seven games.
 
In January 2017, he joined Sūduva-Mantinga of the Lithuanian National Basketball League, where he averaged 11.2 points and 5.4 rebounds in 22 games and helped the team repeat as NKL champions. In August 2017, he signed with Garonne ASPTT of the French NM2 before returning to the BBL and signing with the Plymouth Raiders.
