ENTERING THE KNIGHT
Freshman
Jared Dillon provided the Knights with a decisive goal in the 84th minute, helping his team defeat Bucknell 2-1 last Friday. The freshman, who started at forward in his first collegiate game, sprinted upfield to meet a long ball up the far side of the field passed by senior
Daniel Lasarte. Dillon then fired a curling line drive over the Bucknell goalkeeper for the game-winning goal. Junior
Diego Arribas netted the first goal of the night for FDU in the 21st minute, with junior
Nark Miranda earning his first career assist on Arribas' score. Junior
Jahmali Waite made four saves in the victory, all in the second half.
KNIGHT DEBUTS
Along with Dillon, freshman midfielder
Ville Ahola and junior defender
Kaskile Zawadi started for the Knights in their first game with their new team. Freshman
Peter Kozlej also saw his first game action, coming off the bench to play 54 minutes in the midfield.
SERIES HISTORY
FDU is 3-6-1 all-time against Lafayette heading into Tuesday's match. The two teams played to a 1-1 draw at University Stadium last season, with midfielder
