BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – The NEC announced their men's soccer weekly awards on Monday afternoon. The FDU Knights were represented by Arnau Rabassa Guillamon, who was named the NEC Co-Player of the Week.

Rabassa Guillamon picks up the honor for the first time this season, and is the first Knight in 2025 to receive Player of the Week honors. The distinction comes after a solid week for the senior, who helped the Knights go 1-0-1 in their matches.

The Barcelona, Spain native scored the game-winning goal in the Knights' clutch 2-1 victory on the road against Siena. Rabassa Guillamon made a fantastic play on the Saints' goalkeeper to poke the ball away and score the goal. The Knights midfielder made it back-to-back games with a score, and currently is tied for the NEC lead in goals with two.

The Knights have begun the season with a win or draw in each of their first five matches for the first time since 2017, thanks to the help of Rabassa Guillamon.

Rabassa Guillamon was also named an NEC Prime Performer for his efforts during the week. He was joined by teammates Takuto Nishide and Noah Reuscher in receiving that honor.

The Knights will be back in action on Thursday, September 11, when they travel to Queens, N.Y. to face St. John's. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m.
