SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – FDU men's soccer (3-2-2) dropped a Sunday night match to Seton Hall (2-1-3) by a score of 3-0. 
The Knights and Pirates stood at a scoreless tie through the first half of the action. The Pirates had a number of chances across the first 45 minutes, out-shooting the Knights 7-1.
Into the second half, Seton Hall's high shot volume started to turn into results. In the 51st minute, the Pirates' Joseph Min put a ball past Matheus Franca in net, breaking the scoreless tie. 
Later on in the 65th minute, Franca committed a foul in the box, awarding a penalty kick to Seton Hall's Til Kauschke. Kauschke buried the chance, extending the Pirate lead. Kauschke would add to the lead just two minutes later, scoring his second goal to pick up a brace in the 67th minute.
The 3-0 score would hold through the remainder of regulation. FDU finished with 10 shots to Seton Hall's 13
The Knights return home to host Columbia on Thursday, September 18. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m.
