Women's Fencing Completes Regular Season With Defeat to NJIT

NEWARK, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson women's fencing team finished its regular season on Tuesday, dropping a contest to NJIT 22-5.

Teammates Isabella Garcia in foil and Natalia Toby in epee each captured a 2-1 mark on the day. Amanda Cilley picked up the other win for the Burgundy and Blue in foil.

Up next, the Knights will send several fencers to the NCAA Regionals on March 9. Garcia, Toby and Cilley will all be competing. FDU's Carly Edelman currently sits on the bubble and will know her status sometime next week.
