HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson women's basketball team looks to complete a season sweep of Bryant Monday when the two teams meet in Smithfield, R.I., at 2 p.m.

ENTERING THE KNIGHT
The Knights (6-17, 3-9 NEC) knocked down a season-best 12 three-pointers and held a three-point lead into the fourth quarter against Saint Francis U but ultimately fell by a 77-65 margin. With the Knights up 54-51, the Red Flash scored 15 straight points to take a lead they would not lose. FDU made 7-of-15 threes in the first half and drained five more in the second half. The Knights also totaled 18 assists and 12 steals, but the Red Flash had a decisive advantage in free throw attempts (22-5) and made 17 of their attempts. Sophomore
Madison Stanley led the Knights with 16 points, tying her career high, and pulled down seven rebounds. Senior
Madelynn Comly netted 14 points, and freshman
Lindsey Mack scored a season-high 12 points on four three-pointers.

Senior
Madelynn Comly enters Monday's game with 942 career points. The senior has averaged 10.8 points per game since the start of NEC play and needs to average 9.7 ppg in the Knights' final six games to reach 1,000 by the end of the season. Comly is currently shooting 50.5 percent from the field in NEC games and has scored in double figures in each of her last four games, including a season-high 19 points at St. Francis Brooklyn on Feb. 9. If she does reach the milestone, Comly would become the 18th player in program history to score 1,000 points.
STAN THE GREAT
Sophomore
Madison Stanley has been on a tear in recent games for the Knights. Making her first start since Dec. 21 at Saint Peter's, Stanley tied her season-high with 16 points vs. SFU, making six field goals and two threes for the first time in the same game. She has scored in double figures in three straight games and also averaged 7.0 rebounds per game. Stanley achieved her first-ever double-double against St. Francis Brooklyn, finishing with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
FRANCILLON MILESTONES
Junior
Lauren Francillon passed the career benchmark of 500 rebounds and also collected her 100th career block in FDU's loss to SFU. She pulled down five boards in the first half to reach the milestone and finished the game with seven rebounds to up her total to 502. Francillon has averaged 12.3 ppg and 8.2 rpg in NEC play this season, shooting 44.7 percent from the floor and 83.3 percent at the free throw line (25-of-30). She also has 18 blocks in NEC games, and is fourth in the league with 1.2 blocks per game.
DEFENSIVE MINDSET
The Knights have proven to be one of the better defensive teams in the NEC this season. The Knights are second in the league in steals per game (9.0) and are third in points allowed (65.5), three-point field goal defense (30.6 percent), blocks per game (3.9), and turnover margin (+0.7). Senior
Natalie Zamora leads the conference with 2.3 steals per game, and senior
Peniel M'Bikata ranks fourth with 2.0 swipes per game, recently recording seven steals against SFU, the most by a Knight since 2014. Along with Francillon, Stanley ranks in the top 10 in the league in blocks per game (1.0, 8th).
SERIES SCORE
Bryant leads the all-time series with FDU, 13-6, but the Knights have won each of the previous two meetings, including earlier this year at home (63-53) and last year in Smithfield (77-69 in overtime). The Knights went on a 12-2 run in the fourth quarter that helped lead them to their win earlier this season over the Bulldogs, and M'Bikata finished with a double-double (12 points, 10 rebounds). Zamora led the Knights with 13 points in that game, making three of her five three-point attempts. FDU is 2-7 all-time when facing Bryant on the road.
SCOUTING BRYANT
The Bulldogs (6-17, 4-8 NEC) are currently on a five-game losing streak that started with their loss to the Knights in the Rothman Center, recently falling to Sacred Heart at home by a 10-point margin (67-57). Sydney Holloway, the NEC's leading rebounder with 11.7 boards per game, finished with a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs. Holloway is averaging a team-best 16.9 points per game as well. The Bulldogs only made 1-of-14 three-point attempts against Sacred Heart. Bryant averages 61.3 points per game and is shooting 37.2 percent from the field as a team and is one of the top rebounding teams in the NEC with 41.0 boards per game.
AROUND THE NEC
Robert Morris suffered its first defeat of the NEC season with a loss to Mount St. Mary's Saturday, and Sacred Heart also won to keep pace with Saint Francis U and clinch an NEC Tournament berth. St. Francis Brooklyn (8-4) and Wagner (7-5) also picked up wins to remain in the top five in the standings. FDU currently sits in a tie for the eighth and final NEC Tournament spot with CCSU. Other matchups on Monday around the league include CCSU at St. Francis Brooklyn, Sacred Heart at LIU Brooklyn, Wagner at Mount St. Mary's, and Robert Morris at Saint Francis U.
