STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - The Fairleigh Dickinson University men's track and field team completed the NYC Gotham Cup Friday afternoon hosted by Manhattan University, recording a number of top-ten finishes on the afternoon in both track and field portions of the action.
FDU returns to action next Friday, January 26th, when they head to Boston for the John Thomas Terrier Classic.

Sandley Elysee earned FDU's first top-ten finish of the day, taking ninth with a time of 1:58.53 in the 800 meters. Zubayr Ismail also raced, finishing 18th overall.
In the long jump, Brendon Perez took home a ninth-place mark, while Nick Todaro took home an eight-place mark in the weight throw with a distance of 14.83 meters.
