HACKENSACK, N.J. - When the Fairleigh Dickinson women's basketball hosts Wagner on Saturday at 4 p.m. inside the Rothman Center, the Knights will be aiming for the season sweep of the Seahawks. The Knights won out on Staten Island, 59-53, on January 7.
QUICK HITTERS
•FDU's last two games have been decided by the final basket of the game. FDU beat St. Francis Brooklyn on a layup with two seconds left on Saturday and lost to Bryant at the buzzer on a jumper on Monday.
• For the fourth straight game, FDU had 10 OREB at Bryant (19). Only did it twice in first six NEC games.
• A win would be the 10th straight at home vs Wagner for FDU. FDU's last loss to Wagner was back in the 2004-05 season, 57-50.
• FDU had 13 steals and forced 22 turnovers against Wagner in the first meeting this season on Staten Island, which the Knights won 59-53.
SERIES SCORE
FDU will seek a fourth straight win over Wagner on Saturday afternoon. The Knights have lost just twice (19-2) to the Seahawks since the 2005-06 season. Both of those losses came over on Staten Island. FDU won 75-67 last season in Hackensack.
LAST TIME OUT
Fairleigh Dickinson was on the other end of a last second shot at Bryant, as the Bulldogs hit a jumper from the top of the key to win 50-48 on Monday night. FDU won at St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday on a Brianna Thomas layup with two seconds left. The Knights led 28-9 in the first quarter but Bryant came all the way back to take its first lead with under a minute to play. The Knights shot 4-of-10 from three in the first half but missed all 10 attempts in the second half despite holding the Bulldogs to only two makes from distance on the night. Madelynn Comly led all scorers with 19 points -- sixth straight game in double figures. Amina Markovic added a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
ABOUT WAGNER
The Seahawks enter at 2-19 overall and 1-9 in NEC play after beat St. Francis Brooklyn at home on Saturday afternoon, 58-45. The win snapped an 18-game losing streak for Wagner. Kerstie Phills has been the bright spot for the Seahawks this season. The freshman is a five-time NEC Rookie of the Week selection and is leading the team in scoring at 11.8 and over 15 ppg in NEC play. Tanasia Russell is also scoring over 10 points per game for the Seahawks at 11.0. Julia McClure is the leader on the glass for Wagner at 6.6. Phills is second at 5.7.

Madelynn Comly has led FDU in scoring in the last three games. Only Brianna Thomas Has done that in more games this season (4 -- Longwood, NJIT, Queens, Air Force).
