LAST TIME OUT
A trio of Knights were in double figures and FDU used a strong third quarter to get its first NEC win of the season at Wagner, 59-53. Peniel M'Bikata had 12 to lead the way. Amina Markovic and Brianna Thomas were also in double figures with 11 points each. The Knights scored six of the first eight points of the third quarter to extend the lead out to 39-30. The lead would get to as many as 15, 45-30 in the third. Wagner battled back in the fourth to get within four in the final minute but the Knights overcame a five-minute span of not making a field goal to end the game by hitting a couple free throws down the stretch.
ABOUT BRYANT
The Bulldogs are winners of two straight games and sit at 7-7 overall and 2-1 in NEC play. Last time out for the Bulldogs they topped Mount St. Mary's 78-62 at home in Smithfield, R.I. The only common opponent in the non-conference schedule between the two sides is UMass Lowell. Bryant beat UML 73-62 on 12/21 at home. FDU lost to UMass Lowell 61-55 on 12/5 in Lowell, Mass. Alex Klein leads the squad at 16.1 per contest. Klein is also grabbing 8.2 'boards per game. Ivory Bailey puts up 12 points per off the bench.
