Women's Basketball Faces St. Francis Brooklyn Twice in a Week on Saturday

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- For the second time is six days, Fairleigh Dickinson and St. Francis Brooklyn battle on the hardwood. The Knights are looking to split the season series with a win on Saturday after falling on Monday night, 66-59, to the Terriers. 

QUICK HITTERS
FDU faced the same opponent in back-to-back games last season (LIU Brooklyn), the teams split those two games with each team winning at home. 

FDU had 30 points in the paint on Monday night -- third straight game over 25.  

For the second straight game, the Knights shot over 40% from the floor against St. Francis Brooklyn (41.4%); first time this season. 

FDU outscored St. Francis Brooklyn 36-28 in the second half on Monday night; fourth straight game that FDU has outscored opponent after halftime. 

FDU is averaging only 15.1 turnovers per game in NEC play, over 4 less than overall.

LAST TIME OUT
Fairleigh Dickinson tried to muster a second-half comeback against St. Francis Brooklyn but the Knights came up short and lost 66-59. The Terriers started strong and led by nine after one and by 15 at halftime. That strong first half helped the Terriers withstand the second-half runs by the Knights. FDU went on a 17-1 run in the third to cut the lead to 47-40. FDU would eventually cut the lead to five with 30 seconds left but St. Francis hit four free throws down the stretch to put the game away.
