Women's Basketball Concludes Road Swing at Mount St. Mary's Monday

EMMITSBURG, Md. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson women's basketball team visits Mount St. Mary's on Monday to conclude a two-game road swing in Northeast Conference play. Tip is set for 7 p.m. 
 

QUICK HITTERS
The Knights have won the turnover battle in all five NEC games this season. They are the only team in the NEC that has done that. 

FDU is also atop the league in turnover margin in NEC play at 7.2 (13.8-21.0)

FDU has been outrebounded in four straight games; FDU was a season-high minus-28 on the backboards at CCSU

CCSU grabbed 60 rebounds; most by an FDU opponent since SFU had 68 on 1/25/14

FDU has 3 players in the top 10 of steals in NEC games; Brown (T4), Thomas (T6) & M'Bikata (T8)

SERIES SCORE
Fairleigh Dickinson and Mount St. Mary's have split the last 18 meetings 9-9. The Mount's win at home last season stopped a three-game winning streak by FDU in the series. Only two of the last seven meetings have been decided by single digits – each team has a win in those scenarios. FDU is 2-3 over its last five trips to Emmitsburg. 

LAST TIME OUT
Central Connecticut started fast and got out to a 14-5 lead in the first quarter and held a 21-10 lead after one and handed Fairleigh Dickinson a 68-49 loss on Saturday. It was the Knights' worst loss since losing by 22 to Saint Peter's. The Blue Devils used a plus-28 rebounding margin and shot 43-percent from the field. A trio of Knights were in double figures; led by Brianna Thomas' 20 – her fourth 20-point game this season. Kiana Brown and Madelynn Comly each added 11. The Blue Devils defense held the Knights to 27-percent shooting and only four Knights hit a field goal.    

ABOUT MOUNT ST. MARY'S
The Mountaineers come in with an identical overall record, 3-13, and NEC record, 1-4, as Fairleigh Dickinson. The Mount is coming off a 97-88 loss to Saint Francis U in its last contest and has lost three straight games. Caroline Hummell leads the Mountaineers in scoring at 11.3 per game. Hummell also leads the Mountaineers in rebounding per game at 5.9. Katrice Dickson is second on the team in scoring at 9.1 per game. Mount St. Mary's is third in the NEC in blocks per game at 3.06 per game.
