HACKENSACK, N.J. - The Fairleigh Dickinson women's basketball team will host Binghamton on Friday night at 7 p.m. and make the road trip up to UMass Lowell on Monday night at 7 p.m. The Knights can get to .500 with a pair of wins.
OPENING TIP
The month of December opens up at home for the Knights and a chance to get back to .500 on their home court and stop a three-game losing streak overall.
SERIES SCORE
Friday's tilt will be the fourth meeting all-time between the Bearcats and the Knights. FDU holds a 2-1 series lead over the prior three meetings. The last meeting came in 2012-13 at the Lehigh Holiday Tournament, FDU won 54-41.
LAST TIME OUT
Army started the game on a 24-5 run on Monday night and led 27-10 after the first quarter. FDU got it to within 14, 31-17, in the second quarter but Army lengthened the lead again by halftime. The Black Knights got the lead out to as many as 36 but FDU outscored Army 15-11 in the fourth to cut into the lead a little bit to make it an 86-58 final.
SCOUTING BINGHAMTON
The Bearcats come into Friday night's tilt at 1-5 on the season and have lost three straight. The win came against Penn --61-48 -- back on November 16. Imani Watkins leads the offense for Binghamton, averaging 22 points per game, which is T10 nationally. Watkins has scored 20 points or more in four straight games -- first Binghamton player to do that. Jasmine Sina is second on the team at 12.5 points per game this season. Rebecca Carmody is the top rebounder for the Bearcats at 7.8 per game.
SCOUTING UMASS LOWELL
The River Hawks are 0-7 to start the season and will host Columbia on Friday before welcoming the Knights on Monday night. Kayla Gibbs leads UMass Lowell at 10.1 points per contest. Gibbs is also tied for the team lead in the rebounding department at 5.9 with Katherine Smith. The one common opponent between the Knights and the River Hawks is Longwood. The Knights beat the Lancers 75-59 back on November 18. UMass Lowell lost to Longwood 72-59 two days later.
BRIGHT SPOTS
Amina Markovic and Courtney Blankenship both set new career highs with 13 points apiece at Army West Point on Monday night. It was also the first time that either player scored in double figures in their careers.

FDU is second in rebounds per game at 39.7 and third in the NEC in total rebounds at 238 this season. The Knights grab 17.2 OREB per game, which 1st in the NEC and T25 nationally.

Brianna Thomas is 4th in the NEC in scoring (16.0) , 6th in field goal percentage (42.9). Thomas has scored 20 points four times already this season.
