The Knights opened the 2015 season against Lafayette's archrival, Lehigh, on Friday, August 28.  FDU was held off the scoreboard by the Mountain Hawks in the 3-0 setback.  The Leopards were also scoreless in their opener on Friday, but Lafayette managed a 0-0 draw against Pittsburgh.

Last Friday's match at Lehigh featured a new look lineup for the Knights as eight players made their debut in the Burgundy and Blue.  Included in that group, are six new student-athletes who worked their way into the starting lineup for the 2015 opener.

The Lafayette match is the second of five contests against members of the Patriot League that the Knights will play this season.  FDU has already played Lehigh and will also square off with American, Army and Bucknell later this month.

Following Tuesday's match, FDU will return home to face the Yale Bulldogs at University Stadium on Sunday, September 6 at 7 p.m.  Fans can watch the match live on NECFrontRow.com.
