ResultsNew York, N.Y. – The Fairleigh Dickinson men's indoor track and field team continued its momentum from last weekend with a handful of great performances at the NYC Gotham Cup on Friday Jan.16, which was hosted by NYU.
Freshman
Keenen Henry (Egg Harbor Township, N.J./EHT High School) led the way for the Knights in the 60m dash crossing the finish line with a time of 7.22. Henry was joined by sophomore Monet Hudson who finished the race in a time of 7.35.
In the 400m dash freshman
Shaquan Williams (Scarborough, Ontario/Pickering) placed eighth out of 98 competitors, crossing the finish line with a time of 49.28. Williams was joined by sophomores
Lloyd Morris () and
Kazeem Otun (Rahway, N.J./Rahway) who crossed the finish line with times of 50.64 and 50.94, respectively.
Junior
Jenya Dyagilev (Almaty, Kazakhstan/Fort Lee, N.J.) produced a strong showing for FDU placing 38th out of 70 competitors in the 500m dash with a time of 1:07.93.
The 4x400m relay team of Williams, Morris, Otun and junior
Moquiez Headly (Hackensack, N.J./Haceknsack) took 9th out of 34 teams with a time of 3:23.16.
Headly also lead the Knights in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.62.
In the high jump sophomore Emmanuel Atiola would have a team leading jump of 1.94m.
Henry lead FDU in the long jump placing 19th out of 51 competitors with a jump of 6.63m. He was joined by junior
Jalen Harris (Edison, N.J./Edison) and Atiola with jumps of 6.59m and 6.56, respectively.
Freshman
Nicholas Todaro () led the Knight in the weight throw with a toss of 13.27m. Todaro was joined by sophomore
Rashaun Graves (Willingboro, N.J./Willingboro) who had a throw of 12.56m.
In the shot put freshman
Connor Hunt (Washington Township, N.J./Washington Township) wold place 25th out of 54 competitors with a team leading throw of 13.03m.
The Knights will return to action on Friday Jan. 23, at the NYU Metro Team Challenge. The events will start at 11:00am at the Armory Track and Field center in New York, N.Y.
