W. Basketball Travels to LIU Brooklyn Monday Night

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson women's basketball team (2-24, 1-14 NEC) will finish up its' Northeast Conference road swing with a Monday night match-up against LIU Brooklyn. Tipoff from the Steinberg Wellness Center is scheduled for 7 p.m.


Last Time Out
The Knights scored a season-low 35 points on just 27.5% shooting from the field. Junior Amanda Andrades (Virginia Beach, Va./Princess Anne) was the lone player in double-figures with 12 points. The FDU defense was performing well in the first half and didn't allow Mount star senior Sydney Henderson to score. However, the Mountaineers shot an explosive 65% from the field in the second stanza and outscored the Knights 38-11.

The Blackbirds have won three of their last four and are rolling at the moment. Senior Cleandra Roberts paces her team with 18.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. Sophomore Sophie Bhasin comes off the bench and averages 10.2 points per game in just under 20 minutes per contest.
