HACKENSACK, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson women's basketball team will continue its four-game homestand Thursday night when it hosts Stony Brook at Stratis Arena for a 7 p.m. contest.

The Knights were defeated at home last Saturday, Nov. 16 by Siena, 82-58. Sophomore Brianna Thomas (Baldwin, N.Y./St. John the Baptist Diocesan) came off the bench to lead FDU with a career-high 17 points and just missed a double-double with a career-best nine rebounds. Fellow classmate Anastasia Williams (Central Islip, N.Y./St. John the Baptist Diocesan) added a team-high 10 rebounds, and senior Desiree Crawford (Aurora, Ontario/Cardinal Carter Catholic) chipped in nine points, eight rebounds and four blocks.

What You Need To Know: Head coach Beth O'Boyle has turned around the Stony Brook program, leading the Seawolves to 10 more wins last year than the year previous and a spot in the conference tournament. This season Stony Brook has alternated wins and losses and is coming off a 78-40 defeat at Iowa this past Sunday. Brittany Snow and Chikilra Goodman are both averaging 12.3 points per game.
