HACKENSACK, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson women's basketball team will look for back-to-back victories when they travel to Jersey City, N.J. to take on Garden State foe Saint Peter's for a 2 p.m. tipoff at the Yanitelli Center on Saturday. The game's audio feed will be streamed live free of charge on www.fduknights.com.

The Knights (2-5) are coming off a 67-58 victory over NJIT at home on Wednesday. Sophomore Erika Livermore (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area) led the way with 21 points and a career-high 17 rebounds on 9-of-14 shooting from the field. The 6-1 southpaw grabbed 10 offensive rebounds as she scored on a variety of layups and put backs.

Despite a poor shooting night from the floor, redshirt junior Danielle Pankey (Middletown, N.J./Middletown South) tied a season high with 18 points by going 13-of-16 from the free throw line to set new career bests in makes and attempts, while junior Desiree Crawford (Aurora, Ontario/Cardinal Carter Catholic) chipped in season highs of 10 points and eight rebounds.

The difference in the game came on the glass and the free throw line as the Knights outrebounded the Highlanders, 50-36, and made 12 more free throws. FDU drilled 19-of-26 from the charity stripe, while NJIT converted 7-of-8.

The Knights finished the game 23-of-63 (36.5 percent) from the field but made only 2-of-11 from long range. The Highlanders shot 34.4 percent (22-of-64) and drilled 7-of-18 from three-point distance. FDU grabbed a season-high 50 rebounds and turned the ball over a season-low 14 times in the win over NJIT. The 67 points scored, 23 made field goals, 19 free throws and 26 free throw attempts were all season highs.

Saint Peter's (0-5) is searching for its first win of the season after falling at Brown (82-48), home against Lehigh (62-60), at Navy (64-53), at Northeast Conference opponent Sacred Heart (79-34) and last time out on Nov. 26 to Akron, 103-57, at home. The Peahens are led by senior forward Kristal Edwards, who is averaging a team-high 14.6 points and 5.4 rebounds per game and leads the team with 15 steals. Four players are averaging between 6.0 and 6.6 points per game. Senior forward Kaydine Bent is averaging a team-best 6.2 rebounds per game.

The Knights and the Peahens will be meeting for the 20th time in the all-time series, which dates back to 1978, and for the sixth consecutive season. Saint Peter's won the first 16 contests before FDU finally broke into the win column three seasons ago to start a three-game winning streak in the series.

Last season, the Knights defeated the Peahens, 55-46, for their first home win of the year. FDU used a 16-3 run over the final 10 minutes as Mariyah Laury (Orange, NJ/Orange) led the way with 14 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals. Pankey added 13 points and six rebounds, Livermore recorded her second double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds, while Crawford recorded career highs in points (7), rebounds (11) and blocks (7).

Following the game against NJIT, the Knights will travel to Long Island to take on Stony Brook on Tuesday, Dec. 11. Tipoff in Stony Brook, N.Y. is scheduled for 7 p.m.
