Junior Sam Durkot compiled a very solid opening weekend of Northeast Conference play. On Friday, Oct. 12, he dished out his first assist of the season, which at the time deadlocked the match at 1-1 in the second half against Saint Francis University, before the Knights fell, 2-1. The southpaw on Sunday, Oct. 14 scored his second career goal and his second goal on a free kick this season, as his missile from about 25 yards out gave FDU a thrilling golden-goal 3-2 overtime victory over Robert Morris.
