Fairleigh Dickinson women's soccer standout Carly Tice was named the Northeast Conference Co-Player of the Week, the league announced Monday, Oct. 27.
Â
Of the three goals the Knights scored over the weekend (Oct. 24-26), Tice scored two and assisted on the third. She matched Sacred Heart's early goal with one of her own on Friday night (Oct. 24) and, with under a minute left in the first period of overtime, received the ball on a breakaway and fed in Rachel Hoekstra for the match winner.
Â
On Sunday, Oct. 26, the junior dribbled past several defenders and fired a shot into the right hand corner of the net for the match's first goal. Tice's 17 points this season put her in a tie for third-most all-time in program history. The Highland Falls, N.Y. native is the sixth Knight to win a weekly NEC award this season.
