Freshman Ksenija Tihomirova helped lead the women's tennis team to a 5-2 victory over NJIT on Saturday, Feb. 1 to being the spring season. She won at No. 1 singles, 1-6, 6-4, 10-7, after being part of the lone doubles duo from FDU not to lose in a 6-7 no decision at No. 1
