Sophomore Manuela Leme opened last week’s women's tennis match against LIU Brooklyn with an 8-3 win in No. 2 doubles alongside senior Julia Prantl. In No. 4 singles action against the Blackbirds, Leme made quick work of her opponent with a 6-4, 6-1 victory.

She was able to keep her momentum going in a match against Sacred Heart with a No. 3 doubles victory, with senior Elmine Botes, to go along with her No. 5 singles win, 6-2, 6-0, over SHU’s Kristin Legenza.
