Fairleigh Dickinson sophomore forward Jacob Labovitz was named the NEC Player of the Week on September 11. Labovitz was the third consecutive honoree from Fairliegh Dickinson, joining Ahu Obhakhan and Daniel Lasarte who were named winners during the first two weeks of the season. Freshman defender Anthony Herbert was also named the NEC Rookie of the Week for week one as well. 

It is the first time in program history that a member of the Knights has been named the NEC Player of the Week for three consecutive weeks.

Labovitz had a hand in creating both goals in the Knights' 2-1 win over Saint Peter's University on Sunday afternoon. The Langley, Virginia product scoring his first of the season to give the Knights a 1-0 lead before assisting on Obhakhan's fifth of the season in the 64' to help seal the win. Labovitz currently sits second on the team in total points with five.
