FDU Knights Athletics

Santini was named NEC Women's Golfer of the Year on April 27. The FDU senior helped lead the Knights to the NEC Championship and a spot in the NCAA West Regional on May 7-9. Santini finished as the runner-up at this year's NEC Championships to teammate Chantry,  had five top-five finishes this season including one victory and three runner-ups. The San Juan native posted a team-best 76.2 stroke average this season across her 25 rounds. Santini, who earned the conference's Rookie of the Year award in 2015, becomes the first Knight to earn NEC Women's Golfer of the Year since Mariana Juaristi earned Co-Golfer of the Year in 2014. This is Santini's second All-NEC First Team award to go along with a pair of second team nods and a 2015 NEC Individual Championship.
