HACKENSACK, N.J. – FDU is set to host a pair of home games this weekend at the Bogota Savings Bank Center. The Knights will take on Stonehill and Mercyhurst to kick off a four-game homestand.
- FDU fell to Wagner, 75–72, on a buzzer-beating corner three in overtime on Saturday afternoon.
- Joey Niesman led the Knights with a season-high 23 points, shooting 9-of-14 from the field and 4-of-5 from beyond the arc, while adding six assists.
- After a slow start, FDU trimmed a 12-point first-half deficit to 33–29 at the break and used a 13–0 run in the second half to build a 62–55 lead.
- Wagner rallied late, but Niesman's driving layup with four seconds remaining forced overtime at 66–66.
- The teams traded baskets in the extra period before Wagner's game-winning three with one second left sealed the result.
