BRIDGEWATER, N.J. - FDU Forward David Jevtic was tabbed as this week's NEC Rookie of the Week in a conference release this afternoon. 

This award marks the fourth for the native of Serbia, as Jevtic put together a week where he scored five points in back to back games against Wagner and CCSU. Jevtic also stepped in to play key defensive minutes down the stretch in those two matchups as FDU secured two big wins in NEC play. 

This season Jevtic is averaging exactly seven points per contest for FDU, which is the most among all NEC freshman that qualify. Jevtic also chips in 3.2 rebounds per game, as well as shooting the ball efficiently, as his field goal percentage is over 40 percent. 

Jevtic and the Knights will take to the road for their next matchup as FDU takes on Stonehill. Tip off from Merkert Gymnasium is set for 7 p.m.
