FDU Travels to New Haven For First Time

WEST HAVEN, CONN. – FDU women's basketball (23-4, 14-0) will travel to Connecticut to face New Haven (7-18, 5-9) on Saturday afternoon. 
 
THE BASICS
LAST TIME OUT
  • FDU is coming off of a 66-52 win over Chicago State on Thursday night. 
  • The Knights' latest win marked the 750th win in the illustrious career of head coach Stephanie Gaitley.
  • Madlena Gerke led the way in the victory, scoring 18 points on four threes.
LAST TIME AGAINST NEW HAVEN
  • FDU faced New Haven for the first time in program history on January 10. The Knights picked up a 65-57 win at home.
  • Kailee McDonald led the way for the Knights in that win, scoring 16 points on four threes.
  • Ava Renninger scored 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
  • Addisen Sulikowski recorded 13 points to lead New Haven.
SCOUTING THE CHARGERS
  • New Haven enters the contest with a 5-9 record in NEC play.
  • Lindsey Hogan leads New Haven in scoring with 11.9 PPG on the season. 
  • Aniya McDonald-Perry holds things down in the frontcourt for the Chargers, averaging 11.3 PPG and 9.5 RPG in conference play.

The Knights will be at home for the final three games of the season following their trip to New Haven. The Knights will host Le Moyne at home on Thursday, February 26.
