TEANECK, N.J. – FDU (0-5-2, 0-0) closed out their non-conference schedule with a 2-2 draw against Saint Joseph's (3-4-1) at home on Sunday. It is the second straight draw for the Knights.

The Knights exploded out of the gate at University Stadium. In the 7^th minute, Marina Burzaco redirected a pass from Andrea Ougaard into the back of the net for the sophomore's first goal of the season. FDU led 1-0.

After the goal, the Knights continued to force the issue. This led to another scoring opportunity for Burzaco in the 24^th minute. This time it was Elisa Garcia playing a pass to the forward. Burzaco took the pass and buried it for her second goal.

FDU outshot their opponent 9-2 in the first half and led 2-0 at the break.

St. Joe's equalized the match with goals in the 51^st and 57^th minutes.

Forced to regroup, the Knights found themselves again and created more scoring opportunities but were unable to find the winner. The game ended deadlocked at 2-2.
