BRIDGEWATER, N.J. - Andrea Araujo captured her first NEC award, Rookie of the Week, thanks to her brace in an all-important 2-1 win Thursday evening against the Wagner Seahawks.

These two goals now move Araujo into the top five for goals in the NEC this season with 4. Her second tally of the evening was a spectacular one, a curling effort from outside the box which found the top right corner of the goal. The Spanish freshman also featured later in the week during the Knights' 0-0 draw away at New Haven.

FDU will next make the trip to Washington, D.C., to take on Howard. This match will take place on October 22 at 7 p.m.
