EARLY SEASON ROAD TRIPS
Jack Castleberry will begin his third year in charge of the Knights in Ames, Iowa on November 3. FDU is set to take on Iowa State at Hilton Coliseum in their season opener. They are one of three opponents that made last year's NCAA tournament on the Burgundy and Blue's calendar.

Following their clash with the Cyclones, FDU returns to New Jersey but stops south of Hackensack. The Knights will battle in-state rival Saint Peter's in Jersey City on November 8. This is the fourth straight season that these teams will meet with the Peacocks taking two of the previous three meetings.

The Knights will then dabble in SEC country as they travel to Texas on November 12. These programs have met only once before and that was 50 years ago on December 12, 1975. The Longhorns earned an at-large bid to March Madness last season and were ousted in Dayton by Xavier.

After hopping on a flight back from the Southwest, the Knights complete their four-game road stint with an opponent a bit closer to home. FDU and NJIT are scheduled to play on November 15 in Newark. The Knights have taken the last two contests from the Highlanders with both wins coming by less than three points. This includes a 71-68 victory in Newark during Jack Castleberry's first season.

FEAST WEEK COMES TO HACKENSACK
The 2025-26 FDU home opener will take place on November 18 as the Knights play host to Saint Elizabeth. Last season FDU boasted a .642 winning percentage on their home floor. This game will be the first of three straight contests in the Bogota Savings Bank Center. FDU takes part in "Feast Week" by hosting the "FDU Basketball Classic". The Knights will welcome East Texas A&M on November 24 and Army on November 26.

HOLIDAY HOOPS
The post-Thanksgiving schedule begins on December 2 at Providence. The Knights do own a win over the Friars in this series, which came back in 1984 when Tom Green's FDU squad downed Providence by two points on the road.

The last three road games of the non-conference slate are all against opponents the Knights met last season. FDU will take on Fordham on December 10, Boston College on December 22, and will return to "The Barn" on December 29 to battle the Gophers.

NEW YEAR, NEW RIVALS, AND A NEW LOOK NEC
The NEC schedule begins just two days into 2026 and FDU will be ringing in the New Year in Erie, Pa. On January 2, the Knights will play on the road at Mercyhurst for the second time since the Lakers joined in the NEC. FDU takes on reigning NEC Champion Saint Francis U on January 4 before departing Pennsylvania.

FDU's first conference home game is set for January 8 against Chicago State. When the Cougars visited the Knights last season, FDU exploded for 91 points and crushed their opponent by 42 points. The Knights' first chance to meet conference newcomer New Haven comes on January 10. FDU travels to Connecticut for this contest, but New Haven will make their first trip to Hackensack on February 21.

A key stretch of the Knights' season starts in early February. From February 5-14, FDU will play four straight conference foes at home. This includes matchups against Stonehill, Mercyhurst, Saint Francis and Central Connecticut. After this homestand ends, the Knights conclude their season with three of their last four on the road.

The regular season ends in Brooklyn on February 28 when FDU battles LIU.
