HACKENSACK, N.J. – FDU women's basketball (23-3, 13-0) prepares for two key Northeast Conference bouts as they near the end of their regular season schedule. The Knights will host Stonehill (13-13, 9-4) on Thursday, February 27 at 11:30 a.m. They will also travel to LIU (6-20, 3-10) on Saturday, March 1, with tip-off at 1:00 p.m.

The Knights have clinched the 2024-25 NEC Regular Season Championship, and with that, the one-seed in the 2025 NEC Tournament. FDU clinched the championship shortly after their win over Saint Francis on 2/22. 

FDU has been having one of the best seasons in program history. The Knights are currently on a program-record 16 game win streak, dating back to the month of December. The team is also undefeated at home in the regular season. FDU has not lost a home game in over a calendar year, with their latest home loss coming on Feburary 24, 2024 against Le Moyne. 

The match-up with Stonehill on 2/27 will be the last home game for FDU in their 2024-25 regular season. The Knights will look to end the regular season with a perfect record at home. 

The Knights will re-match with the NEC's number two team in the Skyhawks. FDU last faced Stonehill on the road on 1/23. The Knights emerged victorious in that one by a score of 72-54.

FDU will also face LIU for the second time this season. The Knights and Sharks last met in Hackensack on February 15. FDU took down LIU by a score of 75-45.

Several Knights will also seek to continue dominant 2024-25 campaigns as the regular season finishes up. Teneisia Brown enters the final stretch of conference play as the front-runner for NEC Player of the Year. Brown has been named the NEC Player of the Week five separate times this season to lead the conference. She also tops all NEC players with 9.6 RPG, and a 51.9 FG%. Brown is currently on a six-game double-double streak.

Ava Renninger will also be a name to watch for FDU. Renninger is an eight-time NEC Rookie of the Week, and leads the team with 14.5 PPG.
