HACKENSACK, N.J. – FDU women's basketball (22-3, 12-0) will host Saint Francis U (10-16, 8-5) for a Northeast Conference bout on Saturday afternoon. The Knights will be celebrating Senior Day prior to tip-off.
FDU will look to keep their foot on the pedal in what has been an utterly dominant season. The Knights are currently on a torrid 15 game win streak, and are 12-0 at home this season.
The Knights are also on the verge of clinching at least a share of the NEC Regular Season Championship. A win by FDU would clinch a share, while an FDU win plus a Stonehill loss will give FDU sole possession of the title.
FDU will ride the hot play of it's two stars Teneisia Brown and Ava Renninger into the contest. Brown, the two-time reigning NEC Player of the Week, is currently on a streak of five straight double-doubles.
Renninger, an eight-time NEC Rookie of the Week, is coming off of a 14 point performance to lead the way in FDU's latest victory over Le Moyne on 2/20. Renninger leads the Knights with 14.5 PPG on the season.
Senior Day festivities will start a few minutes prior to tip-off in Hackensack. Gametime is 2:00 p.m, with coverage available on NEC Front Row.
