PISCATAWAY, N.J. – FDU women's basketball (2-2, 0-0) will head across the state to face Rutgers (3-1, 0-0) on Sunday afternoon.

- The Knights are coming off of a 65-63 road victory over Manhattan.
- Madlena Gerke led the way in the win, scoring 21 points for the Knights. Gerke is now averaging 15.3 PPG on the season.
- Ava Renninger scored 18 points, while dishing eight assists and grabbing six rebounds. Renninger leads FDU with both 16.3 PPG, and 5.5 APG
- FDU won at the wire, after Manhattan missed a game-tying free throw with 1.1 seconds left.
- Rutgers has begun the season with an impressive 3-1 record in non-conference play.
- The Scarlet Knights picked up wins over Quinnipiac and Rhode Island, as well as fellow NEC member Wagner.
- The lone blemish on Rutgers' schedule is a 71-54 home loss to Stony Brook on 11/9.
- Rutgers is led by junior forward Nene Ndiaye, who averages a team-best 18.5 PPG. Ndiaye transferred to Rutgers from Boston College ahead of the 2025-26 season.
